Hi everyone, do you still remember me? I’m Kenji.
It's been two months since we last took the advanced reading class, so it is going to be difficult to remember how to write the essay in English but I try to do it as far as possible.
Today, let me write about previous semester, especially extensive reading. We took the advanced writing class together but actually we read the different books respectively.
Anyway, the most impressive book I read during the last semester is “NO ONE'S PERFECT” which is written by Hirotada Ototake who has the disability. This book has been mentioned not only the difficulty to live with such a disability, but the kindness of human beings, happiness, and so on. I could know the diversity and think about “life” through this book and my sense of value was a little bit changed by Mr.Ototake, so I’m content with this book and I recommend it to you.
As for the positive impression and negative impression of extensive reading, I think that reading a lot of books quickly was one of the good practices for improving the speed to read something. In my case, it took a lot of time to finish reading and grasp the contents precisely, but I’m sure it was worth doing. As a result, I could reinforce the vocabulary too by reading the books, so generally extensive reading was useful for me though it was so hard to finish reading.

I have No One's Perfect on my bookshelf at home but I didn't read it yet! So maybe I should get around to reading it soon!! Glad you could find extensive reading useful and good luck for semester 2!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comments on my article! As you said, you should read that one as soon as possible, you must be able to be sympathetic toward his thought and spend great time.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to be able to take the reading class continuously.
